{"id":2280,"date":"2024-05-29T15:54:21","date_gmt":"2024-05-29T12:54:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/insha-osvita.org\/?page_id=2280"},"modified":"2024-12-16T14:33:47","modified_gmt":"2024-12-16T12:33:47","slug":"culture-helps-kultura-dopomahaie-pidtrymka-mentalnoho-zdorov-ia-ta-robota-z-postrazhdalymy-vid-povnomashtabnoi-viiny-spilnotamy-cherez-kulturu-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/insha-osvita.org\/en\/culture-helps-kultura-dopomahaie-pidtrymka-mentalnoho-zdorov-ia-ta-robota-z-postrazhdalymy-vid-povnomashtabnoi-viiny-spilnotamy-cherez-kulturu-2\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cCulture Helps \/ \u041a\u0443\u043b\u044c\u0442\u0443\u0440\u0430 \u0434\u043e\u043f\u043e\u043c\u0430\u0433\u0430\u0454\u201d: mental health support and working with communities affected by full-scale war through culture"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the main goals of the \u201cCulture Helps \/ \u041a\u0443\u043b\u044c\u0442\u0443\u0440\u0430 \u0434\u043e\u043f\u043e\u043c\u0430\u0433\u0430\u0454\u201d project is mental health support for cultural managers who work with the topic of integration people who have been forced to move to safer regions of Ukraine or abroad due to the full-scale war.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>As part of the mental health support programme for 2023-2025, we are implementing:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 200 individual grants of up to \u20ac1,000 for professionals in the cultural sector who primarily work on a volunteer basis with displaced people who have been forced to relocate due to the war.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The grants are aimed at supporting the mental health and well-being of practitioners in the cultural and creative sectors in Ukraine and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/opportunities\/docs\/2021-2027\/crea\/guidance\/list-3rd-country-participation_crea_en.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creative Europe<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> countries. Four individual grant competitions have already been held, supporting 101 cultural managers who received financial support for psychotherapy sessions, retreat trips to health resorts, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A webinar programme developed by the program&#8217;s partner, the psychological agency Psikultura. The webinars aim to normalise the perception of taking care of mental health and to provide effective self-support tools.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In March-April, July and September 2024, 12 online meetings were held. These meetings resulted in the publication of webinar summaries and workbooks with practical exercises for participants, as well as for anyone in need of mental health support who has the opportunity to work on this independently:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/vOCohlr2Yyk?si=WE86h53olrQXPsUj\"><b>How to Take Care of Your Mental Health: Basic Concepts and Skills<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d \u2014 what is important to know about mental health, \u201cred flags\u201d of your condition, and simple and important things that can help today. maintaining mental health &#038; prevention of crises <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with the psychologist Anastasia Medko, on how to consciously understand crisis situations and what self-regulation techniques are available in crisis situations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/976435926\"><b>Sleep &#038; mental health <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with scientist Olga Maslova, about the connection between sleep and the biological clock, a healthy sleep protocol and recommendations for sleep hygiene during war.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/976454459\"><b>Art of communication <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with crisis during the war and find resources for post-traumatic growth.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/976488072\"><b>Depression &#038; coping strategies <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with psychologist and psychotherapist Volodymyr Stancyshyn, about the emotional swings of war and how to respond to them.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/976519042\"><b>Resilience &#038; safe space<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with positive psychology expert Larysa Bobrova, about the concepts of resilience and stress resistance, and methods of turning negative thoughts into resourceful ones.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Based on these webinars, we plan to create a practical Toolkit with adapted educational and facilitation materials for self-help.
