The project provides grant support to cultural managers and organisations that help displaced people integrate into new communities through culture. \u201cCulture Helps\u201d focus on (displaced) cultural professionals and organisations that can enable this process. Implemented by <a href=\"https:\/\/insha-osvita.org\/en\/\">Insha Osvita<\/a> (UA) and <a href=\"https:\/\/zusaculture.org\/\">zusa<\/a> (DE).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cCulture helps\u00a0 \/ \u041a\u0443\u043b\u044c\u0442\u0443\u0440\u0430 \u0434\u043e\u043f\u043e\u043c\u043e\u0433\u0430\u0454\u201d have launched it first grant calls in May-June. Each grant call received more than 500 applications, which were evaluated through nominated by Insha Osvita jury members. We would like to extend our pool of jury, who can work on the evaluation of next grant calls for individual and project grants. You can join the team, evaluating applications for individual, project grants or both types of grants.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Individual grants program<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> focuses on support of mental health of individuals. Cultural workers and activists, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">working with people<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who have been forced to move to safer regions of Ukraine or <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/opportunities\/docs\/2021-2027\/crea\/guidance\/list-3rd-country-participation_crea_en.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creative Europe countries<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> because of the Russia\u2019s war in Ukraine, can receive financial support to take care of their mental health or wellbeing (for example: pay for a therapist or a stay in a health resort, take a course an art-therapy, etc.) <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program aims to draw attention to the importance of mental health in cultural managers&#8217; work<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facts on evaluation of Individual grants program:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One application is evaluated by 3 jury members.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each jury member works independently in a separate Excel spreadsheet, evaluating applications according to criteria, described in the call.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dates of evaluation from 3, August till 28, August.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Language of the application &#8211; Ukrainian or English.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We expect from 50 to 65 applications for 1 jury member. The general volume of the text of one application <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is around 1 page, A4 format.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Information on jury members is communicated publicly on Insha Osvita and zusa webpages and social media\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fee for the evaluation is 4000 UAH.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>project grants program<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> offers support for cultural organisations that emphasize work with people, who have been forced to move to safer regions of Ukraine or <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/opportunities\/docs\/2021-2027\/crea\/guidance\/list-3rd-country-participation_crea_en.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creative Europe countries<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> because of the Russia\u2019s war in Ukraine. The project idea must be focused on displaced people or refugees, facilitation of their integration into new contexts through culture. Additional efforts should be put into involving families and children in the project activities. The proposed activities can have a form of workshops, co-creation processes, educational projects, art therapy or similar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facts on evaluation of project grants program:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One application is evaluated by a board of 3 jury members.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each jury member works independently in a separate Excel spreadsheet, evaluating applications according to criteria, described in the call.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dates of evaluation, from \u2013 November 2023, will be determined exactly dates closer to the starting.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Language of the application \u2013 Ukrainian or English.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We expect 50\u201365 applications for 1 jury member. The general volume of the applications is around 5 pages A4.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Information on jury members is communicated publicly on Insha Osvita and zusa webpage and social media.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fee for the evaluation is 6000 UAH.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification, skills and experience required from jury members:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong connections with the cultural community: professionals which provide and realize culture activities.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience in cultural management or management in NGO field or independent artists initiatives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience in writing project applications.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Understanding of project and\/or cultural management processes and impacts of implementing projects to the cultural sector and target group in Culture helps program.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ukrainian and English language level should be no lower than B1.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application and timeline:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please, fill out the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">application <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">form <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/inshaosvita.typeform.com\/to\/pUX4Qaci\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">via link<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
