{"id":3106,"date":"2025-12-17T16:08:11","date_gmt":"2025-12-17T14:08:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/insha-osvita.org\/?p=3106"},"modified":"2025-12-17T16:22:40","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T14:22:40","slug":"shukaiemo-nezalezhnykh-zhuri-dlia-culture-helps-solidarity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/insha-osvita.org\/en\/shukaiemo-nezalezhnykh-zhuri-dlia-culture-helps-solidarity\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for an independent jury for Culture Helps Solidarity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2025\u20132027, together with the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/culturalfoundation.eu\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">European Cultural Foundation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/zusaculture.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">zusa<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/uwvm.org.ua\/en\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Veteranka<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> movement, and with the support of the European Union, we will be implementing the \u201cCulture Helps Solidarity \/ \u041a\u0443\u043b\u044c\u0442\u0443\u0440\u0430 \u0434\u043e\u043f\u043e\u043c\u0430\u0433\u0430\u0454: \u0421\u043e\u043b\u0456\u0434\u0430\u0440\u043d\u0456\u0441\u0442\u044c\u201d project. It aims to support Ukrainian cultural professionals, as well as cultural organisations and initiatives that,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> through cultural and artistic practices, support local communities, work with veterans, and contribute to the integration of Ukrainians who, due to the war, have been forced to relocate either to safer regions within Ukraine or abroad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for independent jury members to take part in the competitive selection of participants and the evaluation of grant applications. <b>We are inviting external experts from non-formal education, arts, cultural and creative industries, human rights initiatives, and the civil society sector, including veterans.<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"78\" data-end=\"103\"><strong data-start=\"78\" data-end=\"103\">Eligibility criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"107\" data-end=\"218\">Strong ties to the cultural community and hands-on experience in implementing cultural and artistic projects;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"107\" data-end=\"218\">Understanding of the context and experience working on cultural projects for and\/or with veterans, as well as with people who have been forced to relocate to safer regions within Ukraine or abroad due to the war; understanding of project and\/or cultural management processes and of how projects impact the cultural sector as a whole and specific target groups;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"107\" data-end=\"218\">Experience in cultural management and project coordination at the local level, including the coordination of independent initiatives or civil society organisations, as well as in-depth knowledge of one or more regions;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"107\" data-end=\"218\">Experience with international cultural projects is an asset;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"107\" data-end=\"218\">Understanding of trauma-informed approaches and inclusion in the arts; sensitivity to discrimination and educational\/didactic approaches; and a shared commitment to the values of equal partnership and solidarity;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"107\" data-end=\"218\">Experience in writing project proposals and familiarity with \u201cproject language\u201d;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"107\" data-end=\"218\">Proficiency in Ukrainian and English at B1 level or higher. Additional languages are an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Which grants can be applied for evaluation?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are three grant streams in total \u2014 you may evaluate applications at one or more levels. Below we share the conditions and timelines of the first calls; however, there will be multiple calls over the two-year period, so we plan to reach out to you more than once. A financial reward is provided for the evaluation of each grant application.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Individual grants programme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> supports the mental health and wellbeing of cultural workers (including veterans) who work with the integration of Ukrainians forced by the war to relocate to safer regions of Ukraine or to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/culture.ec.europa.eu\/resources\/creative-europe-desks\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creative Europe<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> countries. First call announced: 30 January 2026. Evaluation period: 6 February \u2013 16 March 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Evaluation process:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Detailed evaluation criteria and guidelines will be shared by 30 January 2026.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each jury member will assess approximately 25\u201330 applications.
