Running until 2028, the project combines three grant schemes &#8211; individual grants, thematic project grants, and collaboration grants &#8211; with a rich programme of mentoring, learning, and peer exchange. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project is co-funded through<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the Creative Europe programme and implemented<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by the <\/span><b>European Cultural Foundation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Amsterdam), an independent foundation fostering European belonging through culture; together with <\/span><b>Insha Osvita <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Kyiv), a Ukrainian NGO and professional learning community developing educational and cultural programmes; <\/span><b>zusa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Berlin), an international NGO fostering collaboration and collective learning for social and cultural change; and the <\/span><b>VETERANKA Movement<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Kyiv), Ukraine&#8217;s leading community of women veterans advocating for women&#8217;s rights, leadership, and reintegration.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Individual Grants provide direct, flexible support to cultural professionals in and from Ukraine who are working &#8211; often voluntarily &#8211; with displaced people and refugees, veterans and vulnerable communities, in Ukraine or in any of the Creative Europe (CE) countries <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(which include the 27 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/european-union.europa.eu\/principles-countries-history\/eu-countries_en#header_countries_list\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EU member-states<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/opportunities\/docs\/2021-2027\/crea\/guidance\/list-3rd-country-participation_crea_en.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">more countries participating in Creative Europe<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These personal care grants are designed to offer quick and accessible assistance for strengthening the personal wellbeing, resilience and mental health of cultural professionals and creatives, enabling them to continue their crucial cultural, community-based work in extremely challenging circumstances. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These grants are not designed to cover costs related to project delivery or implementation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fifth<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> call in the series of rolling application rounds, opening approximately every six weeks. Across the 2026-2028 project period, we anticipate 10\u201314 such cycles. In each cycle, approximately 7 to 10 grants of <strong>up to EUR 1,200 will be disbursed. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Who is it for<\/b><b>?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This call seeks to support <\/span><b>individual professionals <\/b><b>in need for individual wellbeing care who work in arts, culture or community-based cultural activities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">support displaced Ukrainians, both inside Ukraine and across Creative Europe countries;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">play a meaningful and publicly relevant role for maintaining cultural production, artistic creation or community life in Ukraine or in Creative Europe countries;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">work with veterans and<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">vulnerable groups;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">seek urgent personal wellbeing support that will enable them to continue their work, creative practice, and engagement with their communities;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">have been personally affected by war, displacement, and\/or traumatic working conditions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>What do we offer<\/b><b>?\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We offer up to <\/span><b>\u20ac1,200<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (including taxes if applicable) per individual, disbursed as a one-off contribution. The grant may be used strictly for <\/span><b>personal mental health and wellbeing support<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and may not be directed to third parties, to project implementation or organisational costs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Eligible activities include:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Psychotherapy or psychological counselling;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trauma-informed coaching or emotional (group) support sessions;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Restorative care or rehabilitation stays (e.g., sanatorium treatment, wellness programmes, retreats);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Visit to cultural institutions and events (tickets to museums, theatres, cinemas, concerts, etc.);\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participation in master classes or workshops (art therapy) and materials for participation in them, if necessary;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other justified wellbeing-oriented services that directly support the applicant\u2019s resilience.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The grant <\/span><b>may not<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> be used for:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">psychiatric consultations or medical mental<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">health treatment (including any expenses that involve medical care, diagnosis);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">purchase of medication or medical devices (even if prescribed by a doctor);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">purchase of material assets (tools, household items, equipment, etc., consumables for work, etc.);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">payment of rent for premises (residential or commercial, non-residential);\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tuition fees, other training costs (formal or informal);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">invasive interventions (surgical operations, cosmetic procedures, dental interventions, etc.);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">streaming platform subscriptions;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">consultations with doctors of alternative medical practice;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">strictly humanitarian needs or cost-of-living support.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Eligibility criteria<\/b><b>:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Individual grants are strictly dedicated to individuals, who:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are aged 18 and above;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reside in Ukraine or have fled from Ukraine to one of the Creative Europe countries <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(which include the 27 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/european-union.europa.eu\/principles-countries-history\/eu-countries_en#header_countries_list\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EU member<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">states <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/opportunities\/docs\/2021-2027\/crea\/guidance\/list-3rd-country-participation_crea_en.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">more countries participating in Creative Europe<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">artists, cultural managers, or activists and volunteers working with displaced persons in Ukraine, or with <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">displaced <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">p<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ersons and refugees <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">from Ukraine in one of the Creative Europe countries, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">veterans and vulnerable groups;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">submit a complete application form in either Ukrainian or English language.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Selection criteria and process<\/b><b>:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><i>Relevance of professional context <\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Does the applicant demonstrate a convincing role within their artistic, cultural, or cultural-community environment, and clearly explain the relevance of their engagement through artistic practice, cultural production, and\/or culture-based community initiatives?<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><i>Personal wellbeing relevance <\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Is the requested support clearly related to maintaining or strengthening the applicant&#8217;s personal wellbeing and resilience at this stage of their life and work?<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><i>Public and community impact<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Is the applicant able to convincingly demonstrate how sustaining their own wellbeing and resilience would support their continued contribution to arts, culture, and\/or culture-based community life, generating benefits for the communities, audiences, or cultural environments with which they engage?<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><i>Coherence and feasibility<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the planned use of funds &#8211; Are the requested activities realistic and eligible to the purpose of supporting the applicant&#8217;s wellbeing.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following an eligibility check, applications will be assessed by external advisors who are familiar with the cultural sector and the current context in Ukraine.
