Co-creative communities: three-day offline dialogue in Kyiv
Strengthening grassroots networks and upgraded tools for working with vulnerable groups — together with MitOst e.V. and EcoHub, we are launching the Co Creative Communities educational project. It aims to strengthen grassroots and local democratic processes in Ukraine and Armenia.
As part of the project, we will hold a three-day offline dialogue in Kyiv on September 12-14 between representatives of Ukrainian civil society to better understand the current needs of communities that have arisen as a result of the war and full-scale invasion. The meeting is also focused on discussing ways to maintain communication between organizations in Ukraine and abroad, as well as finding new working tools.
We invite:
- heads of non-profit organizations working with vulnerable groups (people who have been forced to leave their homes, children and teenagers, people with disabilities, neurodiverse people, single mothers/fathers, veterans);
- activists working with the same vulnerable groups;
- preference will be given to effective informal groups and young organizations run by people under 35. These can include human rights organizations and communities, organizations and informal groups in the field of culture and art, educational organizations, veterans’ initiatives and associations of military family members, volunteer and charity organizations.
To apply for the participation, follow the link until September 4. We will invite 25 participants in total. We will cover travel and accommodation costs.
Location: Ukrainian-Danish Youth House.
Seven of the group will be able to join an offline meeting in Armenia on October 7-10 to share their experience and knowledge with Armenian and German activists.
The project is implemented by Insha Osvita in partnership with MitOst e.V. and EcoHub and funded by the German Federal Foreign Office. The offline dialogue in Kyiv will be held with the support of the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House.
