Scattered Communities: results of the open call for the second round of the program
Scattered Communities is a program for Ukrainian artists living in Ukraine and abroad, launched by Insha Osvita in cooperation with the Asortymentna Kimnata. The focus is on (re)establishing connections in the artistic community, creating a space for dialogue/discussion, and discussing sensitive and uncomfortable issues. As before, the program provides for participation in online artist talks, opportunities to find a partner for work (for those who applied solo), funding for mobility and joint artistic works or work-in-progresses.
The second round of the program envisages both collective and individual participation, with the prospect of partnerships with participants from both iterations of the “scattered communities”.
In total, the open call received 124 applications from 175 artists (including 80 individuals, 40 tandems, and 5 trios), of which we can support 20.
