The ВІЛЬНО/VILNO program was established for the adaptation and recovery of veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war who worked in the cultural and educational sectors prior to their service.

In the third round, we are expanding the program. We invite participating active servicewomen and servicemen, who continue their cultural, educational, and artistic activities during their service.

In this round, we will support 20 fellows.

The third round of the ВІЛЬНО/VILNO program will include:

  • a fellowship for 20 veterans and/or active servicewomen/servicemen in the amount of €600 per month for 6 months (fellowships will be awarded based on the results of the submitted applications);
  • psychological and/or legal support in collaboration with partners;
  • 3 microgrants to support projects, each in the amount of €1500 (one-time payment in the hryvnia equivalent);
  • 5 internal mobilities aimed at strengthening connections between program participants and/or the community.

Creating a project is not mandatory. The fellowship can be used for education, materials, renting a workspace, etc.

Selection criteria:

  • you are a veteran or active servicewoman/serviceman who worked in the cultural, educational, or artistic sphere before service;
  • you have experience in implementing projects in the relevant fields before service;
  • you want to continue or resume your artistic and educational practice and know what steps you need to take during the fellowship;
  • your application is written in Ukrainian;
  • all fields of the application are completed and contain meaningful answers.

We will share more details about the program at an online introductory meeting, where we will also answer all your questions and advise you on how to complete the application. The meeting will take place on October 15 at 16:00.
