Bozhena Pelenska — programme and operations director at Insha Osvita

Bozhena Pelenska has joined the team of Insha Osvita as program and operations Director. She is a cultural manager and previously served for over ten years as executive and program director of Jam Factory Art Center in Lviv.

Bozhena describes her professional path as follows: “Since 2015, I have been working on the creation of an art center — an important cultural institution in Ukraine with the capacity for international collaboration. I had the opportunity to coordinate a long-term revitalization project — from the initial concept to the establishment of numerous administrative processes, as well as the development of a strategy and a team.

Since 2023, my focus has been on developing program activities: delivering large-scale exhibitions and public programs, and planning directions in contemporary visual art, theatre, music, and education. In addition, I have been involved in shaping urban policies and developing projects to support the independent cultural sector.”

At Insha Osvita, Bozhena is working on several key areas: updating the organization’s strategy, establishing and streamlining operational processes, and coordinating current and new projects.
