Co-Creative Communities: online training for public and cultural professionals
As part of the Co-Creative Communities project, we are launching online workshops for leaders of nonprofit organizations that work with vulnerable groups (people who have been forced to leave their homes, children and teenagers, people with disabilities, neurodiverse people, single mothers/fathers, veterans). These can include human rights organizations and communities, organizations and informal groups in the field of culture and art, educational organizations, veterans’ initiatives and associations of military family members, volunteer and charity organizations.
The online workshops will focus on addressing the current issues and challenges faced by representatives of the public and cultural sectors. Topics include: How can abandoned spaces be transformed and/or new community spaces be created to strengthen the agency of communities? How can collaboration between government bodies, civil society, and the creative sector impact social cohesion and community resilience? Experts in relevant fields will also be invited to each session.
Join us for the sessions on November 7, 12, and 14, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM:
- November 7 – Place-Making: transforming abandoned sites into community spaces that empower community agency;
- November 12 – Participatory Budgeting: the (non)creation of real change through community engagement in decision-making;
- November 14 – Social Cohesion: how collaboration among government, civil society, and the creative sector can respond to the challenges of war.
Register for the sessions through the link. For effective group work, each workshop will be limited to 30 participants. If we receive more registrations, we may ask about your attendance priorities:)
The project is implemented by Insha Osvita in partnership with MitOst e.V. and EcoHub and funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.
