“Culture Helps / Культура допомагає”: geography of supported grantees

Since May 2023, Insha Osvita, in collaboration with the German organisation zusa and with co-financing from the European Union, has been implementing the “Culture Helps / Культура допомагає” project. This initiative aims to support people who, due to Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, were forced to relocate to safer regions of Ukraine or abroad. The project provides grant support to cultural managers, as well as organisations and initiatives that help people integrate into new communities through cultural events.

Over two years, we have covered a wide geographical area, both in Ukraine and in the Creative Europe countries. In Ukraine, projects supported by “Culture Helps / Культура допомагає” have been implemented in the Ternopil, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia, Volyn, Kyiv, Sumy, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Zakarpattia, Chernihiv, Poltava, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Rivne, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

Abroad, projects have been implemented in Poland, Lithuania, France, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Germany, Czechia, Latvia, Bulgaria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ireland, Slovakia, Sweden, Greece, Romania, Spain, the Netherlands, and Estonia.
