Open call for a fellowship within the reintegration program for veterans in the arts and education ВІЛЬНО/VILNO
The ВІЛЬНО/VILNO program aims to recover, adapt, and reintegrate into civilian life veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war who worked in the cultural and educational sectors before their service.
Within the first round of the ВІЛЬНО/VILNO program from October 2024 to January 2025 will be implemented:
- A fellowship for veterans from September to December for 600 euros;
- Psychological and/or legal assistance (together with partners);
- Joint meetings for veterans with civilian counterparts to reconnect, exchange views, and synchronize.
We are launching an open call for participation in a reintegration program for veterans who worked in the cultural and/or educational and/or artistic sphere before their service, were dismissed from service, and need support in reintegrating into their professional environment. The program includes a fellowship that can be spent on education, workplace rent, work supplies, etc.
Program participants will also have the opportunity to apply for funding for their artistic or educational projects. Creating a sound work or video art, renting a studio to work on an installation, translating your book, or creating a podcast about the specifics of returning teachers’ professions with military experience — within this round, we will fund three such projects.
Selection criteria:
- You are a veteran who worked in the cultural and/or educational and/or artistic sphere before serving;
- A variety of projects were realized before serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- The application is written in Ukrainian;
- The relevance of the applicant’s focus for the duration of the fellowship is in line with the overall goals and aims of the program;
- All questions are filled in and make sense.
You can participate in the program and fill out the application form until September 29, 2024.
