Сall for a fellowship within ВІЛЬНО/VILNO program 2025
The ВІЛЬНО/VILNO program is dedicated to the recovery, adaptation, and reintegration of veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war who previously worked in the cultural and educational sectors. We aim to support cultural managers, artists, journalists, teachers, and other professionals who seek to return to their professions after being discharged from service.
Last year, we supported 10 veterans, including artist Bunchak Bohdan, director Hradnov-Savytskyi Mykola, book curator Kuzmenko Nataliia, playwright Sarnatska Alina, music teacher Kryzheshevsky Mykola, musician and archaeologist Nechytailo Pavlo, and others. This year, we are expanding our opportunities and launching the program for 20 veterans.
In 2025, the ВІЛЬНО/VILNO program includes:
- A monthly fellowship for 20 veterans in the amount of €600 (paid in UAH equivalent) for 6 months;
- 10 microgrants of €1,500 (paid in UAH equivalent) to support individual projects;
- Psychological and/or legal support in collaboration with partners;
- Art therapy workshops in partnership with specialists;
- A networking event for veterans, 2024 fellows, and colleagues from the civilian sector, aimed at building a community, restoring connections, sharing experiences, and expanding professional opportunities.
We do not require fellows to implement specific projects, as the program is designed to facilitate a smoother adaptation and reintegration into professional environments. The fellowship funds can be used for education, workspace rental, work materials, and more.
Selection criteria:
