Podcast Competition: Links of Memories

For the International Youth Competition in the project “Links of Memories – 80 years since the end of World War II”, we invite students from Germany, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine to send us their creative projects in the category:

• Podcasts or audio features

on one of the following topics:

• 80 years since the end of World War II in my country / town
• Biography (with a specific focus on End of War stories) of a Jewish person from my region in the Centropa archive 

Very welcome are, for example, projects that highlight the significance of the 80th anniversary since the end of the War in your country, town or region; commemoration places and activities and their relevance to you; Jewish biographies throughout history of your country or town, with a focus on their post-War experiences; following the traces of a biography from the Centropa Archive in your region.

The winning entry from each country will be invited to a weekend in Krakow, including an official award ceremony. The event will take place from April 18th to 19th in Krakow (Poland).

The project is implemented by Centropa (Hamburg, Germany) in collaboration with Insha Osvita, Fundacja Galicia Jewish Heritage Institute (Krakow, Poland), Maghid and the Jewish Museum (Chisinau, Moldova) and funded by the German Federal Foreign Office through their Civil Society Cooperation.
