Results of selection for the second round of the fellowship within ВІЛЬНО/VILNO program
The ВІЛЬНО/VILNO is a program created to support veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war who have experience in the educational and cultural sectors in their recovery and return to civilian life. It provides financial, legal, and/or psychological support, as well as networking opportunities to restore connections with colleagues.
In the first round, 10 veterans from various backgrounds and fields, ranging from visual arts and literature to archaeology and book curatorship, received the ВІЛЬНО/VILNO fellowship.
This time, we have the opportunity to expand the number of participants to 20. The second round includes scholarships of €600 for 6 months, legal and/or psychological support, the opportunity to receive a micro-grant for their own project, participation in art therapy sessions, and a large networking meeting with participants from both rounds of ВІЛЬНО/VILNO program and colleagues from the civilian sector.
For the second round, applications were evaluated by an independent jury consisting of:
- Anton Drobovych — Head of the KSE Human Rights and War Memorialization Centre;
- Natalia Kuzmenko — veteran, book curator, publishing researcher, founder of the “Zbirka” bookstore;
- Pavlo Nechytailo — veteran, researcher, archaeologist, candidate of historical sciences;
