
Results of selection for the third round of the fellowship within ВІЛЬНО/VILNO program
The ВІЛЬНО/VILNO is a program created to support veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war who have experience in the educational and cultural sectors in their recovery and return to civilian life.
In the third round, we expanded the program and invited active servicemen and servicewomen to participate, specifically those who continue their cultural, educational, and artistic activities during their service or wish to resume them while on duty.
The third round offers fellowships in the amount of €600 for 6 months, legal and/or psychological assistance, the opportunity to receive a microgrant for their own project, and internal mobilities aimed at strengthening ties among program participants and/or the community.
The applications from the participants were evaluated by an independent jury consisting of:
- Andriy Kaspshyshak — veteran, founder of the Mriyelov publishing house, head of the Ukrainian Youth Organization;
- Natalia Kuzmenko — veteran, book curator, publishing researcher, founder of the “Zbirka” bookstore;
- Pavlo Nechytailo — veteran, researcher, archaeologist, candidate of historical sciences;
- Alina Sarnatska – veteran, writer, playwright, researcher;
- Ihor Polataiko — veteran, artist, cultural manager;
- Yuriy Samusenko — veteran, film journalist, author of texts and podcasts.
On the side of Insha Osvita, the following individuals from the Insha Osvita board were involved in the evaluation of applications and the formation of the final twenty: Olha Diatel and Alona Karavai, as well as our program director Bozhena Pelenska and Yuliia Nepyk, the coordinator of the ВІЛЬНО/VILNO program since its very first round.
