Co Creative Communities is an educational project in cooperation with MitOst e.V. (DE) and EcoHub (ARM), which aimed at strengthening grassroots and local democratic processes in Ukraine and Armenia.

In times of crisis, including wartime, representatives of marginalized groups are even more likely to face discrimination against their rights. Therefore, activists working with these groups need individual support, strengthening of horizontal networks and the development of new tools.

During the project, we will work with leaders of civil society organizations, as well as creative industry professionals to develop practical skills in participatory models, communications, and principles of accountability and transparency. Special attention will be given to the participation of women and representatives of vulnerable groups.

As part of the program, we will hold activities in Ukraine and Armenia, including:

  • a three-day offline dialogue in Kyiv between representatives of civil society to better understand the current needs and challenges resulting from the war and the full-scale invasion.
  • offline meetings in Armenia to share experiences and knowledge with Armenian activists and German experts.

Based on the results of the meetings, Ukrainian, Armenian, and German experts will publish a Toolkit with participatory tools.

Finally, 200 participants will be able to attend an interactive conference in a hybrid format to share experiences and developments during the project.

The project is implemented by Insha Osvita in partnership with MitOst e.V. and EcoHub with funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
